Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated EYFS Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and supportive Church of England primary school in Radcliffe. The school prides itself on its warm community feel, inclusive ethos, and commitment to helping every child flourish.
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework, secure phonics knowledge, and a recognised TA Qualification. If you’re passionate about early childhood development and keen to support young learners at a key stage in their educational journey, we want to hear from you!

Key Requirements
* TA Qualification (Level 2/3 or equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework
* Experience supporting phonics (e.g., Little Wandle, Read Write Inc., or similar schemes)
* Ability to build positive, nurturing relationships
* Reliability, enthusiasm, and a child‑centred approach

Day-to-Day Roles & Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils in Reception with early learning and foundational skills
* Delivering or assisting with phonics sessions and interventions
* Preparing and setting up learning activities aligned with EYFS goals
* Observing and recording children’s progress for assessment
* Assisting the class teacher with planning and classroom management
* Providing 1:1 or small‑group support where needed
* Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
* Communicating effectively with staff and contributing to the wider school team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
