We are looking for a Junior Buyer to join our team in Trax Park, Doncaster. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance from a portfolio of strategic suppliers within a defined value stream. The role will coordinate Unipart\'s interface with suppliers to ensure products and services purchased lead to improved value and service to the Unipart business and its customers. The role has responsibility for Procurement master data and supporting the Category Managers with operational activities.
Responsibilities
* Ensure optimal performance from a portfolio of strategic suppliers within a defined value stream.
* Coordinate Unipart\'s interface with suppliers to improve value and service to the business and customers.
* Manage Procurement master data and support Category Managers with operational activities.

Qualifications
* GCSE A-C, A Levels.
* Procurement Qualification/CIPS preferable.
Experience and Proven Ability Required
Essential
* Recognised procurement work experience (min 2 years) with experience in sourcing and obtaining validated quotes for parts and services.
* Ability to compile, analyse, interpret and present information to senior stakeholders.
* Skilled communicator.
* Strong data analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
* Procurement qualification/working towards or a desire to work towards (CIPS Level 4/5).
* Experience within the Rail industry with good knowledge of the supplier marketplace and associated approvals.
* Experience with SAP.
* Knowledge and experience of LEAN Manufacturing & LEAN Supply Chain principles.
