ABOUT YOU
As a Hardlines Administrator, you will be organised, proactive and confident managing a varied workload. You will enjoy working in a collaborative environment and take pride in delivering accurate and efficient administrative support.
You will be working closely with laboratory teams, customers and external laboratories to ensure the smooth coordination of samples, documentation and reporting activities.

Required skills and experience:
1. Good IT literacy skills, including MS Word and Excel
2. Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role
3. Experience managing documentation, reports or data systems
4. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
5. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
6. Good communication skills, both written and verbal
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A proactive and positive approach to work
8. Ability to follow procedures and maintain accuracy
9. Experience within a laboratory, technical or regulated environment would be beneficial but not essential
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
On a daily basis, you will support the coordination and administration of testing activities within the Hardlines laboratory, ensuring documentation, samples and customer communications are managed accurately and efficiently.
You will work alongside experienced colleagues who will support your development, helping you build your skills and confidence within a busy operational environment.
Key activities:
10. Booking samples into the LIMS system
11. Preparing and coordinating samples and documentation for intercompany and third-party laboratories
12. ·Managing the numbering, sorting, filing and retrieval of documents and records
13. Raising purchase orders associated with testing activities
14. Supporting the management of DHL postage, deliveries and tracking
15. Producing and distributing testing reports and related documentation
16. Responding to customer enquiries via email and telephone
17. Supporting pricing and quotation activities
18. Working closely with laboratory teams to ensure customer deadlines are achieved
19. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data integrity
20. Taking a proactive approach to learning and developing new skills
