Job Description
Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced and reliable individual to become a Senior Machine Operator on a permanent basis within our client's Cumbernauld-based manufacturing facility.
What’s on offer?
* £30,000 per annum
* Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm
* Full-time permanent position
Responsibilities
* Operating machinery such as power presses, brake presses, rolling mills, and drilling machines to produce steel fencing and gate components
* Operate and maintain machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines
* Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify any faults or defects
* Calculating for measurements and adjustments
* Reading and interpreting basic technical drawings
Requirements
* Previous experience working with power presses, brake press machines or similar machinery
* A good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent work ethic
To be successful as a Senior Machine Operator, you will require previous experience working with power presses, brake press machines or similar machinery, as well as the above qualifications.
