Support Worker
We are seeking caring and committed individuals to join a supportive team delivering high quality care across a range of services in Dorset.
Positions: Various available including; Senior Support Worker, Support Worker and Night Support Worker
Location: Weymouth, Dorchester, Stalbridge, Sherborne, Bridport and Crossways
Salary: £ to £ per hour depending on role and experience
Hours: Full time, typically to 38 hours per week (day and night roles available)
Contract: Permanent

About the Role
We are recruiting for a range of Support Worker, Night Support Worker and Senior Support Worker roles across multiple services. These positions offer the opportunity to make a real difference to people with learning disabilities and mental health needs, supporting them to live independently and achieve positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities may include:
1. Providing high quality, person centred care and support
2. Supporting with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation and medication
3. Promoting independence, wellbeing and community engagement
4. Building positive relationships with the people you support
5. Maintaining accurate records and reporting changes in needs
6. Following safeguarding and health and safety procedures
7. For senior roles, supporting team members and ensuring high standards of care delivery
8. For night roles, remaining awake and alert, carrying out checks and maintaining a safe environment
You will work as part of a supportive team, contributing to a safe, inclusive and positive environment.

9. Compassionate, patient and committed to delivering excellent care
10. Strong communication skills and a team focused approach
11. Willingness to learn and complete training such as the Care Certificate
12. Flexible to work shifts including evenings and weekends
13. For senior roles, previous experience in social care and confidence supporting a team
