A well-established and highly regarded main contractor in the West of Scotland is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor with 2-3 years' post-graduate experience to join their supportive commercial team based in Prestwick.
Our client operates across a diverse project portfolio including commercial new build and refurbishment, healthcare, social housing, leisure, and public sector developments. Project values currently range from approximately £1m to £40m+, offering strong exposure to varied and technically interesting work.
The role:
- Managing multiple live projects simultaneously across varying values and sectors.
- Working primarily from the Prestwick office, with site visits during working hours.
- Attending site meetings and liaising with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Supporting the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account.
- Ensuring cost control, reporting, and contractual compliance across your projects.
What they're looking for:
- 2–3 years' post-graduate experience in Quantity Surveying.
- Background in main contracting or social housing.
- A proactive and team-oriented individual.
- Someone within a commutable distance of Prestwick.
Working environment and benefits:
