About the Service
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Family Group Conference Team. FGC is a restorative intervention, which recognises that every family is unique and so by using FGCs we work with them to create and achieve a family plan. FGCs use a family's own skills, strengths, and personal knowledge to resolve difficulties, using their own expertise and ensuring their involvement in the process can help to redress the power imbalances that are experienced by children/young people and their families. FGC aims to reduce the need for statutory intervention, improve better outcomes and ensure all children and young people can thrive.
