A top city firm is looking to expand their prolific Real Estate Finance practice with a talented Senior Associate. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced and highly regarded team, handling high-quality work in a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Role
The firm is looking for a skilled and driven solicitor with strong academic credentials or equivalent expertise, ideally from a well-respected commercial law firm with a well-regarded Real Estate practice. The ideal candidate will be proactive, confident in handling matters independently, and committed to delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing your own caseload of a diverse portfolio of property finance transactions, including acquisitions, investment, bridging, and development finance.
* You will be acting for various lenders including large banks performing due diligence for lenders making loans.
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with lender panel clients, investors, and property professionals.
* Actively identifying new business opportunities in the real estate lending sector.
* Representing the firm at industry events and networking opportunities to strengthen its presence in the market.
* Demonstrating commercial awareness, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.
* Working efficiently under pressure to meet demanding deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
What they are looking for
* A qualified solicitor with min of 4+ years PQE in Real Estate Finance, acting for lenders (banks and specialised lenders), performing due diligence for lenders making loans.
* Strong technical expertise and the ability to manage a caseload independently.
* A client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
* A keen interest in business development and nurturing client relationships.
* A collaborative approach, with a willingness to mentor junior team members.
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
* Adaptability to evolving technologies and legal processes.
