Job Summary

21 & 28 hours per week

Are you someone who believes in the power of dignity, choice and independence? Do you have a heart for helping others live life to the fullest? If so, we'd love to welcome you to our team as a Support Worker.

As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in providing both reablement support and longer-term care for individuals at our centre. Your mission? To help people regain or maintain their independence by promoting daily living skills and offering compassionate, person-centred care.

You'll be supporting individuals in line with their personal support and goal plans—offering not just practical help, but emotional encouragement and genuine connection.

What You'll Be Doing

* Working with people, not for them—empowering individuals to do as much as they can for themselves
* Delivering personal care with dignity and respect, including washing, dressing, toileting, and mealtime support
* Following individual support plans and updating senior staff to ensure care remains relevant and responsive
* Supporting safe mobility and administering prescribed medication in line with best practice
* Keeping accurate, detailed records to ensure continuity and quality of care
* Being a trusted presence—someone who listens, encourages, and uplifts

What We're Looking For

* A compassionate, respectful approach to care
* A commitment to promoting independence and wellbeing
* Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
* A team player who's also confident working independently
* Experience in care is welcome, but not essential—we provide full training

What You'll Get in Return

* A supportive, inclusive working environment
* Ongoing training and development opportunities
* The chance to make a real difference in people's lives, every single day

If you would like an informal discussion about this role, please contact Kelly Grimes Registered Manager On

* Staff parking permit scheme
* Discounted island sports & leisure gym membership
* National and local discounts & benefits schemes
