Job Summary
Ward 17 at Royal Bournemouth Hospital cares for emergency general surgical patients leaning towards Urology. We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who has an interest in caring for emergency surgical patients and would like to join our friendly, dynamic team.
Training will be provided for the successful candidate and support will be given to work through required competencies.
Base Location
Royal Bournemouth Hospital Hospital.

Person Specification
Essential
* Completion of care certification or willing to complete care certificate
* Experience of band 2 hospital/ward work
* Experience of working with the public
* Experience of working in a care environment
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to work in a demanding environment
* Ability to demonstrate initiative and prioritise work efficiently
* Clinical observation skills e.g. recording of temperature, pulse, blood pressure, oxygen saturations and respirations
* Effective communication skills- both written and verbal/non verbal
* I.T literate

* NVQ or equivalent at level 2 in health care
* Experience of working in a clinic/treatment room/ambulatory care setting
