SEN Teaching Assistant - Long-Term Role (Starting September)
Location: Shoreditch
Full-Time | Long-Term | Monday to Friday
Pay: £95–£115 per day (dependent on experience)
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join a well-supported, inclusive secondary school in Redbridge. This is a long-term role, ideal for someone who wants to make a consistent impact within one school and one team.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD, SEMH or complex needs
* Supporting students with EHCPs in and out of the classroom
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt resources
* Encouraging progress through structured routines and emotional support
* Building lasting relationships with staff, students and parents
Requirements
We are only shortlisting candidates who can demonstrate:
* Previous SEN experience (mainstream or specialist setting)
* Confidence supporting children with ASD, SEMH or speech & language needs
* A calm, consistent approach and excellent behaviour management
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Availability to commit full-time, long-term
