The role
Deputy Nursery Manager 40 Hours per week | £39,000 Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to support the day-to-day running of a warm, inclusive, and vibrant early years setting. As Deputy Nursery Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading the team, ensuring high standards of care and education, and providing hands-on support across the setting. This role offers a balance of supernumerary time and room-based hours, giving you the chance to mentor staff, shape practice, and remain closely connected to the children’s daily experiences. What We’re Looking For A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) – essential Previous experience in a senior role such as Deputy Manager, Nursery Manager – essential Confident leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team A clear understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding procedures, and inclusive practice Strong communication and organisational skills A warm, proactive approach and a genuine passion for early childhood education What’s On Offer?
