The Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in Canterbury from Easter until the end of the academic year. This is a long-term role with full teaching responsibilities, ideal for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils in Key Stage 2.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the class and play a key role in supporting pupils through an important stage of their learning.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Year 5.
* Take full class teacher responsibilities, including lesson planning, assessment, and reporting.
* Prepare and write end-of-term reports.
* Attend and contribute to parents' evenings.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development.
* Participate in relevant school meetings and professional development.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
* Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage pupils.

Requirements to Join Us
* An Enhanced child-only DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references covering the last two years.
* If you do not currently hold a DBS, we can help you obtain one and reimburse the £62 fee after completing 20 days of work with us.
