Whats the role all about?
As a Buyer, youll be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, components and services to support production and business operations.
Youll play a key role in ensuring supply chain performance, cost efficiency and supplier quality working closely with internal teams to support production and delivery targets.
Key responsibilities
1. Source and procure materials, components and services in line with business requirements
2. Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost and delivery performance
3. Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts with suppliers
4. Monitor and manage supplier performance and lead times
5. Raise and manage purchase orders through ERP systems
6. Work closely with production, planning and engineering teams
7. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and supply chain improvement
