This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the development of large-scale wind, hydrogen and grid infrastructure projects that are central to the UK’s transition to net zero. The Role
As Legal Counsel (minimum 2PQE), you will provide commercially focused legal support across a diverse portfolio of renewable energy and infrastructure projects. Working closely with the General Counsel and senior leadership, you will:
* Advise on corporate, commercial, real estate and energy sector transactions
* Manage due diligence for acquisitions and disposals
* Draft, review and negotiate complex agreements and term sheets
* Coordinate work with external counsel, ensuring quality, consistency and value
* Provide insight on project development, regulation and compliance
* Support board and executive teams with practical, risk-based legal advice
* Contribute to the development of legal templates, training and best practice
About You
* Qualified solicitor (minimum 2 years PQE) with corporate or commercial experience
* Strong communication, drafting and analytical skills
* Pragmatic, solutions-driven and commercially astute
* Confident advising senior stakeholders and collaborating across functions
