Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Technology looking to start your teaching career in a dynamic and supportive environment?
Our client, a progressive and inclusive academy based in Braintree, Essex, is seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Technology ECT to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to develop their practice in a school that values creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning.
About the Role:
Teaching KS3 and KS4 Design and Technology (specialisms considered, e.g., Product Design, Graphics, Resistant Materials, or Food Technology)
Delivering engaging, practical-based lessons in well-equipped workshops and classrooms
Collaborating with an experienced and supportive department
Benefiting from a dedicated mentor and comprehensive ECT induction programme
Access to ongoing professional development and training
About You:
A qualified Technology teacher (or due to qualify by July 2025)
Passionate about inspiring students through practical and creative teaching
Committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and safety
A team player eager to contribute to the department and school community
Able to motivate students of all abilities and backgrounds
