We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the central finance team of a well-established multi-academy trust based in Bolton on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a supportive and busy team environment.
Location: Bolton, BL2Rate: £16.31 - £17.47/hour DOEHours: 8:30am - 4:30pm (Full-time, Full Year)Start Date: Immediate/ASAP start available
Contract: Temporary until at least SeptemberWhat You'll Be Doing:
* Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
* Handling supplier queries and maintaining strong working relationships
* Completing supplier statement reconciliations
* Assisting with payment runs
* Managing and responding to the finance inbox
* Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience within a finance assistant, purchase ledger or accounts payable role
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Confident communication skills when dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders
* Experience working in a school or education setting would be advantageous, but not essential
