We are currently recruitung for a service advisor to join our busy Honda service department based at our dealership based in Enfield.

If I’ve never worked as a service advisor before, what sort of back-ground would make me a great in this role?
This is a question we are asked many times. A successful service advisor is someone who loves meeting people, loves helping people and loves making sure that the experience when visiting one of our businesses is truly outstanding.
You may have worked in hospitality, you may have worked in another retail role or you may be returning to work following a career break, but if you love meeting people as much as we do, we are confident that you’ll fit in really well.
All of our new to Automotive Retail service advisors receive a comprehensive suite of training designed to help you become an expert in the role, throughout your first 12 months with us.

What does a Service Advisor actual do in Automotive Retail?
All of our Service Advisors represent both Brayleys and one of our 5 vehicle brands. As part of our aftersales team, you will be responsible for handling face to face, phone and email queries and converting these to workshop bookings. You will manage the end-to-end customer experience. Day to day, you will:
* Respond to enquiries from new and existing customers who need to make use of our workshop facilities
* Provide outstanding customer service as the face of both Brayleys and our partner vehicle brands as you guide our customers through their visit to our workshop for repairs and maintenance
* Meet team and individual sales targets by through sales of added value products such as continuing maintenance plans.
* Manage the vehicle handover process, ensuring compliance with all processes when our customers collect their vehicles after repair.
* Adhere to Brayleys and industry regulations
Do I need experience?
Whilst we always welcome applications from experienced Service Advisors, we also love to hear from individuals looking to enter retail automotive industry, maybe for the first time. We believe in our leadership and training, and this allows us to recruit for attitude and train for skill.
Is training provided?
We invest in you from day one. Newly recruited Service Advisors undergo a full induction into the role. This is topped up with manufacturer training to ensure their knowledge of products and options is kept up to date.
How can I progress my career?
With 310 members of the team across 18 dealerships, opportunities for progression frequently arise. In fact, many of our current departmental managers entered Brayleys in similar roles and have developed in their career while remaining in the business.
