Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a friendly and inclusive secondary school in Totton, just outside Southampton. This is a full-time position starting in September 2025, ideal for someone passionate about supporting students with additional learning needs.

About the Role:
As an LSA, you will work closely with students who may require extra support to engage with the curriculum and reach their full potential. Whether you’re assisting in the classroom, working 1:1, or delivering small group interventions, your contribution will make a lasting difference in their educational journey.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing tailored support during lessons across a range of subjects
* Supporting students with SEND, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs
* Promoting student independence, resilience and self-confidence
* Helping to implement behaviour and learning strategies
* Liaising with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff to ensure consistent support

Candidate Requirements:
* Experience working with young people (education, care, coaching, or similar settings)
* A patient, adaptable, and motivated approach
* Passion for supporting students with additional or complex needs
* A Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
* Availability to work full-time from September 2025
