Harbour Cars is a family business established for 25 years specialising in the purchase, preparation and retail sale of used Porsche cars.
We are looking to recruit an experienced car detailer. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the finest Porsche cars for sale. This is partly a showroom based role & interaction with retail customers is part of our day to day activity.
Although detailing experience is ideal, if you have a strong background in valeting or vehicle preparation and want to take your preparation skills to the next level we would still be interested. Please understand we can only progress to interview with applicants whose CV demonstrates previous experience unless a covering letter specifically shows why we should consider you.

Responsibilities and Duties
* Preparing and presenting the cars to the highest possible showroom standard.
* Work within a small team mucking in together to do whatever needs to be done to serve the customers.
* Presenting the cars for photography & video.
* Work outside in all weathers as well as within a luxury retail showroom.
* Manage time effectively.
Required Skills
* A full clean driving license - Insurance requirements and the specialist nature of our cars require candidates to be experienced drivers free from accidents.
* Ability & desire to quickly gain a very detailed understanding of Porsche.
* Technical knowledge of cars is a major advantage.
* Passion and enthusiasm for our high performance sports cars and motoring in general is a must.
* All our cars need to be machine polished to a showroom finish including Ceramic Coating - preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate they have experience preparing cars to this standard.
Working Hours & Pay
8am to 5pm Monday to Saturdays with a day off 'in the week' making a 5 day week.
We are Closed Sundays and Bank Holidays
28 Days Annual leave including Bank Holiday's
£27,000 - £37,000 per annum based on experience
