We have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer – Franchise in our Madrid, London, or Milan office.
Michael Kors is looking for an Assistant Buyer to assist the buying team in managing a growing Franchise business. Strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment are essential.
Responsibilities:
* Generate weekly selling reports and analyze business trends to maximize opportunities and minimize liabilities for continued growth and profitability.
* Maintain assortment sheets, update pricing, and reconcile orders.
* Recommend reorders on best sellers and share insights based on analysis to impact business growth.
* Implement and maintain merchandising guidelines, top investments, and product knowledge for partners. Support the buying team in presentations.
* Collaborate with the team to analyze sales data and identify assortment opportunities. Create visual boards when necessary.
* Organize seasonal markets virtually or in Milan showroom, supporting and selling collections to franchise partners.
* Assist buyers with order insertion, follow-up, and coordination with licensee partners, customer service, and merchandising teams.
* Track merch memo for cancellations and support suggested replacements and OTB updates.
* Support buying, planning, operations, and VM teams in executing merchandising strategies.
* Assist with marketing campaigns and partner visits, building brand and market knowledge.
* Coordinate with the operations team for timely shipments and work with customer service to ensure order fulfillment.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree
* Strong Excel skills and computer literacy
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse cultures
* Entrepreneurial mindset with financial acumen
* Ability to meet tight deadlines
* Effective communication in multicultural environments
* Dynamic, resilient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Fashion sense and industry knowledge
