CTS Passenger Assistant – 1 post (permanent contract - 20 hours per week, split shift working pattern)
Salary: £27,729 - £28,521 pro rata
Note: The above salary is based on a full-time role. This is a term-time-only position, so the actual salary will be based on term-time/part-time hours (£13,631 - £14,020).
Candidate requirements include:
1. Experience working with vulnerable people, children with Special Educational Needs, and people with disabilities in a caring and understanding manner.
2. Experience in a passenger care environment.
3. Ability to support Service Users into and out of the vehicle, with knowledge of wheelchair operation and safety arrangements where necessary.
4. Ability to diffuse difficult situations on vehicles and to write brief incident reports.
5. Effective liaison skills with tact and diplomacy between home and school concerns.
6. Clear verbal and written communication skills, including maintaining records and recording passenger complaints.
Special conditions for all roles:
1. Flexibility to work within core hours and outside normal hours on a rota basis.
2. Enhanced DBS Disclosure required.
3. Uniform to be worn during duties.
