Following a period of significant growth, we’re now recruiting for a new leadership role:HR & Commercial Manager (General Manager).
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the next phase of EVOLVE’s journey. You’ll be stepping into a role with real autonomy and impact, working closely with our founder, Claire, to lead the team, refine delivery, and drive sustainable growth.

We’re looking for someone equally pragmatic, passionate about HR, and excited by the idea of helping a small consultancy grow and thrive. This is a hybrid role (both in terms of what you’ll be doingandwhere you will work), combining hands-on HR consultancy with business operations and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
* You will oversee day-to-day service delivery, operations and line management of the HR team.
* Implement systems for monitoring workflow, priorities, and team capacity.
* Oversee and support high-quality client service, coordinating client onboarding, ensuring timely delivery, communication and customer service
* Deliver HR consultancy services to clients: advice, policy creation, complex investigations, deliver engaging, practical training.
* Support the MD on commercial growth strategy and marketing direction, assisting to drive accountability and follow-through on proposals, sales leads, and internal projects.
* Represent EVOLVE in external meetings, networking, on social media (Tiktok/linkedin), and at events when required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum of5+ years’ experience in an HR/Senior management role
* Experiencing managing a team
* Experience in a commercial, operational delivery setting
* CIPD or relevant business Qualification
* Strong working knowledge ofNI/UK employment law

* Anorganised operator - reliable, calmand able toproject manage deadlines, juggle plates, and keep the team on track.
* A people person - who canbuilds relationships and trust quickly with clients and team members. Warm, enthusiastic, and communicates with clarity.
* Independent but collaborative– you know how to get the best out of people without micromanaging, and can bring about positive challenge in a supportive way.
* Self-motivatedand excited byvariety and autonomyto manage your own time. A willingness toroll your sleeves upand get stuck in.
* Positive and change-resilient.
This is a hybrid role with the opportunity to co-work in Belfast City Centre. There will be weekly meetings in greater Belfast area as well as client meetings, therefore being within a reasonable commuting distance with access to a car which can be used for business purposes is essential.
What can offer:
