Estimator 3 Months, Temporary (with permanent opportunity) £Competitive Nottingham, East Midlands UK Our client is a well-established construction business working across high-end domestic projects (large extensions, refurbishments, external works) as well as commercial builds. With a growing pipeline and a backlog of pricing work, they're looking to bring an experienced Estimator on board as soon as possible As the company continues to scale, they are seeking an Estimator who can hit the ground running and support their internal team by taking ownership of the pricing process. As the Estimator you will be responsible for: Pricing high-end domestic extensions, refurbishments, and commercial projects Preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions Reviewing drawings, project specifications, and client requirements Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations Supporting senior staff with pricing strategy to maintain a healthy pipeline Prioritising multiple tenders to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience in infrastructure or civils would be a bonus, but not essential You'll thrive in the Estimator role if you have: Demonstrable experience as an Estimator in construction (domestic, commercial, or both) Strong knowledge of materials, labour, and current market rates Ability to work independently and produce accurate costings Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Experience with civils/infrastructure is advantageous but not required Benefits of the Estimator position includes: Temp-to-perm opportunity, leading to a secure full-time role Competitive hourly rate reflective of UK market norms The chance to shape pricing processes during a critical growth phase Join a supportive, forward-thinking, and busy construction team If you believe you are well suited to the role of Estimator, please click apply now.
