Our esteemed client, a trusted partner of the UK's Ministry of Defence, is seeking a seasoned General Operator - (BA) - Calibration and Maintenance. This role involves We are looking for a reliable and proactive General Maintenance Operator to join our team and support the Calibration and Maintenance department in ensuring the facility and equipment remain safe, compliant, and operational.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Calibration & Maintenance department with general and preventative maintenance activities across the facility.
2. Carry out routine compliance tasks, including ESD testing, electrical safety testing of equipment and portable appliances, and LEV filter changes.
3. Respond to general and reactive maintenance requirements as required, ensuring ongoing facility compliance.
4. Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records, ensuring all documentation and paperwork is completed correctly and on time.
Development & Progression:
This role offers opportunities for progression within the Calibration & Maintenance department. Full training and development will be provided to support the successful candidate in building skills and experience in:
5. Mechanical calibration
6. Electrical calibration
7. The use of test equipment
What do you need?:
8. Previous maintenance experience is desirable but not essential.
9. Ability to follow procedures and complete documentation accurately and consistently.
10. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
11. Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and develop technical capability.
