Repairs Manager Edinburgh | Temporary - Permanent | £50,000 plus benefits Dawson Jones Recruitment is supporting a well-established organisation with the appointment of an experienced Repairs Manager on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a key operational role, responsible for leading the delivery of responsive repairs services through external contractors, ensuring performance, compliance and customer satisfaction across the service. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of responsive repairs services across the housing portfolio. Manage external contractors and internal team performance, ensuring KPIs, service standards and compliance requirements are met. Identify building defects and specify effective remedial works. Monitor budgets, costs and contractor spend, ensuring value for money and cost control. Ensure compliance with health and safety, statutory obligations and regulatory standards. Manage operational issues, escalations and stakeholder engagement across the organisation. Provide leadership, direction and support to the repairs team. About You Proven experience in a senior repairs, maintenance or property services role within housing or a similar environment. Strong technical understanding of building defects and remedial works. Experience managing contractors, service performance and operational delivery. Confident leader with experience managing and developing teams. Strong operational, commercial and stakeholder management skills.
