Teaching Personnel is currently working in partnership with a specialist SEN school in Bolton, seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
* Assist in delivering tailored lessons and learning activities under the direction of the class teacher
* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Support pupils with personal care (if required)
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to the teaching team

What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or care settings)
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work Monday to Friday, during term-time school hours
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
