Join Our Team as a One to One L3 Teaching Assistant!

Position Overview
We are excited to invite applications for a One to One Teaching Assistant role. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 16:30, during term time only. While primarily based at our Horsham site, you may also support students at local PE venues and college settings.
Your Responsibilities
As a vital member of our team, you will:
* Collaborate with the Headteacher and class teachers to align with our therapeutic approach.
* Support pupils in learning effectively, both individually and in groups, by:
o Clarifying and explaining instructions.
o Ensuring access to necessary equipment and materials.
o Motivating and encouraging pupils with tailored attention and support.
o Assisting in areas such as speech and language, reading, spelling, numeracy, and handwriting.
o Using praise and constructive feedback to keep pupils engaged.
* Liaise with teachers, SENCO, and other professionals regarding Individual Personal Education Plans (PEPs).
* Provide additional nurture and support as needed.
* Implement agreed behavior management strategies consistently.
* Build supportive relationships with pupils to foster inclusion and interaction.
* Monitor and adapt learning activities to meet intended outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A minimum of GCSE A-C or equivalent in Maths and English.
* A Level 3 or above Teaching Assistant qualification.
* An understanding of the challenges faced by students with Emotional, Behavioural, or Social needs.
* The ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team.
* Experience in a specialist environment (desirable but not essential).
Working Conditions
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, offering a salary range of £20,422 - £21,111.51. You will be working during term time only, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.
