Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive restaurant and hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing a diverse team, ensuring health and safety standards, and maintaining high levels of operational efficiency to ensure the success and growth of the business.
Duties
* Lead and supervise all bar operations, including drink preparation, service, and customer relations
* Oversee health and safety protocols and ensure cleanliness and organisation of the premises in accordance with regulations
* Manage staff scheduling, recruitment, training, and performance appraisals to foster a motivated team environment
* Monitor daily financial transactions, inventory levels, and procurement processes
* Maintain high standards of hospitality and service quality to enhance guest satisfaction
* Develop marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clientele
* Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly
Skills
* Proven supervising experience within a hospitality setting
* Strong team management capabilities with excellent leadership qualities
* Extensive knowledge of licencing laws and safety standards
* Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with staff, suppliers, and customers confidently
