With a turnover of approximately £60 million and an established presence across key sectors—commercial, data centres, healthcare, high-spec residential, and sports & leisure—they are now seeking to expand their pre-construction team. Due to continued growth and a strong order book, they are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Estimator to be based at their Central London (WC1) head office. The Role As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a vital role in the tendering and pre-construction process, producing accurate and competitive costings for electrical packages on major M&E projects valued up to £15 million. You'll collaborate closely with the commercial, design, and project delivery teams to ensure tenders are commercially and technically robust. Key Responsibilities * Preparation of detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions * Interpreting drawings, specifications, and scope documentation * Engaging with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing * Conducting site visits and technical assessments as required * Identifying value engineering opportunities and risk factors * Assisting with tender reviews and client presentations * Maintaining historical pricing data and benchmark libraries Requirements * Minimum 5 years' experience as an Electrical Estimator within the M&E/building services sector * Strong technical understanding of electrical systems including power, lighting, containment, fire alarms, and security systems * Proven ability to estimate electrical packages for large-scale projects (£5m–£15m M&E) * Proficient with estimation software and Microsoft Excel * Detail-oriented with strong numerical and analytical skills * Clear communication and time management abilities * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Why Join? * Join a highly respected Tier One M&E contractor with a consistent project pipeline * Work on landmark London developments across multiple sectors * Office-based role in a central and well-connected location (WC1) * Competitive salary and benefits package * Supportive and experienced pre-construction team * Opportunities for long-term career growth and development
