Receptionist
Location: Preston
We're working with a welcoming and supportive school who are looking for a Receptionist to join their busy front office team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administration skills who enjoys working in a people-facing role.
The Role:
As the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, you'll play a key part in ensuring the school office runs smoothly. You'll handle calls and emails, greet visitors, and provide essential admin support to the wider team.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome parents, pupils, staff, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Manage incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries
Oversee visitor sign-in and safeguarding procedures
Maintain accurate records and support the school office with day-to-day admin tasks
What We're Looking For:
Previous administration experience (essential)
Strong IT and organisational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay calm and professional in a busy environment
Past school office experience is desirable but not essential - training will be provided on school systems
