Job Description
We are currently looking for a Service Technician with a MOT Licence, to join us at our Main car dealership in Letchworth Garden City. We believe in ‘being the best’ and we only want the best to work with us.
Key role responsibilities:
1. Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles
2. Liaise with customers explaining repairs and issues
3. Test the functionality of parts and systems
4. Carry out MOT’s and retests, following DVSA framework
5. Complete all required paperwork in line with franchise and company standards
6. Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation.
7. Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts
8. Willingness to learn with hands-on training
9. Maintain the cleanliness of the workshop at all times
10. Keep up-to-date with the most recent changes in technology, techniques and in the commercial developments
What we need from you:
11. A full UK driving licence is essential
12. Must have current up to date MOT Licence
13. Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
14. A high level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail
15. Team player with a positive and can-do attitude
16. Self-motivated and customer-focused
17. Excellent communication skills
18. Ability to deliver customer distinction at all times
19. Enthusiastic approach to your ongoing learning and development
Location:Letchworth Garden City
Hours:Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm, alternate Saturdays 8am to 12pm
Salary:£28,000 plus Bonus
