1st Line IT Support Onsite Guildford | £26,000–£30,000 (DOE) | Full-Time We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on IT Support Technician to be the go-to person for our teams. In this role, you’ll keep our people connected and productive by delivering first-class technical support, managing hardware, and helping colleagues make the most of Microsoft 365 tools. What You’ll Do: * First-line support: Be the friendly first point of contact for IT issues – from laptops that won’t start to Outlook that’s gone rogue. * Hardware management:Set up and configure laptops, desktops, and peripherals, making sure new starters hit the ground running and existing users stay productive. * Microsoft 365 support: Help colleagues get the best out of Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, Power Automate, and more. * User accounts: Manage onboarding and offboarding, maintaining access permissions and keeping systems secure. * Asset management: Keep track of IT kit, software licenses, and supplies – and coordinate repairs or replacements when needed. * Documentation: Maintain clear support records, guides, and asset logs to keep everything running smoothly. * Collaboration: Work with internal teams, vendors, and Microsoft when escalations are required. What You’ll Need: * At least 2 years’ hands-on IT experience, particularly with Active Directory and Microsoft 365. * Solid knowledge of hardware setup and configuration. * Based locally to Guildford (within about an hour’s commute) – this role isn’t suitable for relocation. * A full UK driving licence and your own transport. * We’re unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role. * A genuine passion for helping people and solving problems. * Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to know when to escalate. * Clear, professional communication – both written and verbal.
