The Civil Works Alliance (CWA) are offering an opportunity to shape the culture of one of the most significant infrastructure projects in the UK. As part of the CWA, you will contribute to the creation of Sizewell C—a 3.2-gigawatt power station set to deliver low-carbon electricity to around 6 million homes for the next 60 years. We are looking for an engaging and proactive professional to support our HSW Culture Manager in delivering, communicating, and continuously improving our behaviour-based induction and culture programme. You will play a vital role in ensuring our teams and workforce achieve operational excellence in Health, Safety, and Wellbeing, and that our project maintains the highest standards throughout delivery.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Supporting the ongoing development and enhancement of the CWA's behaviour-based Induction and Culture Programme
* Coordinating and driving the rollout of our behaviour-based training to all CWA personnel
* Delivering engaging induction sessions that ensure every team member understands and embraces our culture and values
* Monitoring updates in legislation, client expectations and parent company standards, making sure our programme remains current and compliant
* Building strong relationships with project teams, functional managers, and stakeholders to secure full engagement across the alliance
* Collaborating with functional managers to deliver the CWA culture calendar and associated initiatives, ensuring visible leadership and active participation
* Embedding lessons learned and best practices from events, monitoring, and our parent companies into the culture programme
To Succeed In This Role, You Will Bring
* Excellent planning and time management skills
* Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate and report on culture initiatives
* Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others
* Experience of delivering constructive feedback and driving positive cultural change
* Understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and behavioural-based safety
* The ability to work collaboratively with delivery and functional teams at all levels
* Competence in the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSC) for Managers and Professionals
Desirable
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and confident presentation skills
* Level 3 Award in Education & Training, or experience in coaching and mentoring
Essential Qualifications And Experience
* NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety
* Hands-on experience in delivering HSW initiatives and site inductions
* Knowledge of behavioural-based safety approaches
