My client is a major contractor looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to work on a £60m Major Sports & Leisure project.
Permanent or Freelance will be considered. If Freelance rate is negotiable.
The Role
Working as part of an experienced team, As the Quantity Surveyor, You will play a pivotal role managing the project’s costs from early design through to completion. You will advise on budget, procurement strategy and value engineering.
You will control the project finances by assessing contractor payment applications, producing monthly cost reports, valuing variations and ensuring the works remain within budget. You will attend project meetings, maintain risk forecasts and cashflow, and assist with agreeing final accounts.
