Deutsche Bank Research is responsible for economic and financial analysis within Deutsche Bank Group and covers asset allocation and all major industry sectors. We review relevant trends for the Bank in financial markets, the economy and society, highlight risks and opportunities and act as consultants for the Bank, its clients and stakeholders. Deutsche Bank Research delivers high-quality analysis and promotes public debate on economic, fiscal, labour market and social policy issues.
You will sit with the Thematic and Corporate Bank Research team. You will be providing insights to asset managers and corporates on thematic trends that affect the business world. This involves micro as well as macro analysis, on-going authoring and production of written research to promote investment views and marketing of those views to internal and external clients.

Your key responsibilities
7. Provide clients (including asset managers and corporates) with insights into financial markets, economics, and politics, and the thematic trends that affect the business world. Modelling, presentations, and written reports will be complemented with client meetings
8. Create presentations and written reports using various publicly available information to assess the potential impact of business and financial themes on markets, the economy, and corporates
9. Research and write briefing papers for senior management on various topics as required
10. Support and contribute to team publications that cross asset classes and topics
Your skills and experience
11. Comfortable with financial markets with the ability to have in-depth discussions about the current drivers of Equity/Bond/Foreign Exchange (FX) markets etc
12. Strong writing skills and interest in economics, and geopolitics
13. A background in corporate, equity, or macro analysis is beneficial but not required
14. Experience in creating interesting presentations in PowerPoint
15. An ability and willingness to research a topic in which you have little experience or knowledge and to generate ideas and convert those into commercial research for clients
16. Strong interpersonal skills which enable you to market your ideas to the internal and external client base
