IS2 is hiring an account Receivables Clerk for a well-established trusted provider of a broad array of products to assist contractors and municipalities in Ontario with their waterworks infrastructure projects.
Job Summary
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The duties of the Accounting Clerk include providing support to the company and ensuring day-to-day operation of the office. This may require the ability to be trained in various accounting functions to assist with other staff.
* Onsite at head office London Ontario
* $22-24/HR Depending on experience
Some Job Responsibilities include
* Weekly AP/AR
o Account Receivable
o Account Payables
o Account Expediting
o Reconciliations
o Invoicing
o Office administration
+ Examples – overflow answer phones and greet the public
+ Some manual inputting
+ Reception
+ Customer retention
Education, training and Experience
* Grade 12 Education
o 2-3 years A/R Experience
o MS Office, Especially Excel/spreadsheet experience.
Requirements
* Advanced MS office/ related experience
o Detailed orientated, ability to multi-task, work under pressure & meet deadlines required and display initiative.
o Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, time management skills as well as proven organizational skills
o Strong work ethic & a professional, positive “can-do” attitude and approach to responsibilities with an ability to meet new challenges & changes with an open mind
o Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
o Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
o Proficiency in problem analysis & problem solving
o Strong customer service, interpersonal skills and collaboration skills
o Independent with ability to work productively with minimal direct supervision
o Ability to think creatively
