Business Support Co‑ordinator – Campsfield Immigration Removal Centre
Join our team at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services as a Business Support Co‑ordinator for the soon‑to‑open Campsfield IRC. We look for respectful, diligent and caring colleagues who can support the Centre Director and contribute to Care & Custody.
Job Overview
As a Management Co‑ordinator, you will provide high‑level administrative support, manage confidential information with discretion and act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders. Your role will keep the Centre running efficiently and support wider administrative activities.
Main Duties
* Provide administrative and organisational support to senior leaders, ensuring tasks and projects are delivered efficiently.
* Co‑ordinate the Senior Leadership Team on behalf of the Centre Director, ensuring effective communication, scheduling and follow‑up on key actions.
* Manage diaries, appointments, meetings, travel and accommodation.
* Screen communications, respond to routine enquiries and draft correspondence.
* Prepare, format and distribute documents, reports and meeting minutes; maintain accurate manual and digital records.
* Greet and support visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
* Manage office administration including post, supplies and financial processes such as invoicing.
* Support wider administrative activities across the Centre, including communications and events.
* Handle complaints in a timely, professional manner, ensuring issues are logged, investigated and resolved appropriately.
What We Are Looking For
Proven experience as an administrator, PA or secretary; proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Excellent organisational and communication skills, ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities. Strong attention to detail and high standards of written communication. Confidence to engage with senior managers and external stakeholders. Demonstrated professional, discreet and adaptable approach.
Specific Requirements
* You must be a British Citizen, EU citizen with settled status, or have an ILR from a Commonwealth country.
* Bankruptcy history, CCJs, social media activity and criminal convictions will be closely scrutinised.
* You must have lived in the UK for the past three years with no significant footprint outside of the UK other than normal holidays.
