About the role
This is your opportunity to join our customer-focussed team as the Council seeks to improve the health and wellbeing of Bury’s younger generation. As part of our busy catering service, you’ll get full training and we will provide you with opportunities to develop further within the service including a range of apprenticeships.
We are looking for candidates (with some catering experience) to be part of a team offering a friendly and highly efficient catering service, to children at these schools. Tasks will include food service, setting up and clearing of dining areas, washing up and cleaning duties. There will also be a possibility of some simple food preparation tasks and operating a cashless till system.
We have a number of term time positions available, please specify in your application how many hours you can work and which location you would prefer.
Please note that dependant on service cover, you may be required to move locations. You will also be required to work two cleaning days over August.
