Salary: Up to £33,000, depending on experience
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Project Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing financial aspects of various projects. Your responsibilities will include:
* Financial Management: Oversee a suite of projects and ensure all reporting requirements are met.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders and support line leaders in preparing financial forecasts.
* Financial Control: Provide strong financial oversight and insightful reporting, collaborating with project teams to meet financial commitments.
* Budget Analysis: Partner with project teams to analyze budgets and variances, challenging assumptions to identify financial risks and opportunities.
* Data Preparation: Prepare financial reports by pulling and validating data from various sources.
* Compliance Assurance: Ensure projects comply with the BAE Systems Operational Framework and Finance Policies Manual.
* Process Improvement: Proactively seek ways to enhance local processes and drive efficiencies across the team and business.
* Forecasting: Collaborate with stakeholders to produce one-year and five-year forecasts for key financial metrics.
Your Skills and Experiences:
We’re looking for candidates who possess the following:
* Experience or education in Accounting or Finance.
* Strong Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze financial data effectively.
* Experience in business partnering and communication with multiple stakeholders.
* Excel Proficiency: Strong user of Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.

About the Project Finance Team:
The Project Finance team is a dynamic group of six motivated professionals who thrive on collaboration and shared accountability. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with various stakeholders, building strong relationships and contributing to impactful initiatives.
