About The Role
Support Worker - Rosendale, Lydstep
£12.60 to £12.80 per hour
Full Time: 43.4 hours per week - There are also a range of hours available including part time and nights.

We’re a leading organization dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to children and adults with complex needs associated with autism.
Located in Lydstep, with views of the sea and the Pembrokeshire hills, Rosendale offers a calm, supportive, and homely environment for up to six adults from age 18. The main house has four en-suite bedrooms, a large lounge, a teaching area, and a kitchen/dining area. Additionally, there is a 2-bed self-contained flat. At Rosendale, fun knows no bounds—beach days, cinema trips, and swimming adventures are favorites. The adventure never ends!
A day in the life of working at Rosendale includes:
* Ensuring physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment;
* Supporting recreational activities, outings, and community integration;
* Promoting independence, self-esteem, and confidence, celebrating achievements and milestones;
* Working together to tailor support to individual needs;
* Keeping accurate records of activities, progress, and incidents;
* General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Resilience and patience when faced with challenges;
* A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team;
* Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication;
* Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts.
Please note: This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
