Role Overview:
Manage warehouse operations and support departmental teams by overseeing inventory management, staff recruitment and training, health and safety compliance, communication, reporting, equipment maintenance, and meeting operational objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Management of Inventory: Ensure stock is stored safely and correctly, maintain accurate stock levels and records using WMS software.
2. Planning and Coordination: Oversee delivery and dispatch of goods, optimize use of space, equipment, and labor.
3. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage staff; ensure safety and policy adherence.
4. Health and Safety: Maintain compliance with legislation and company policies.
5. Communication: Attend internal meetings, liaise with transport companies, respond to customer inquiries.
6. Reporting: Produce reports, analyze productivity and quality.
7. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
8. Meeting Objectives: Ensure quality standards and delivery deadlines are met; manage budgets.

Work Schedule & Benefits:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, with a 30-minute lunch. Flexibility required for support during weekends, bank holidays, and peak periods, including Christmas to New Year.
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience.
