Principle Engineer Manager - Bristol
Hybrid working model - 2-3 days per week in the office

The role:
With significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform, deliver new digital services to the business' customers, streamline, and automate business processes, whilst ensuring the continued stability and performance of the legacy platforms. This is an opportunity for an experienced Principal Engineer to join the Engineering Leadership team, to help lead delivery of the digital roadmap, develop people and capabilities, and help set engineering strategy to drive improvements across all teams.
The focus is on building out the Single Digital Platform, centred around Salesforce, but involving a significant .NET estate and use of Azure services.
What you'll be doing:
1. Responsibility for the definition, design and communication of complex IT solutions across a range of technology platforms
2. Leading engineering teams, being hands-on to set best practices and ensure correct designs and implementation, and taking ownership of meeting delivery outcomes as per the product roadmap
