Senior Quantity Surveyor (Co.Derry/L'Derry)
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents
* Managing contracts and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
* Monitoring project costs and advising on financial risks and opportunities
* Leading negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Providing mentorship and guidance to junior surveyors and support staff
* Collaborating closely with project managers and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
What you'll need to succeed
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
* Proven experience in a senior surveying role within the construction industry
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and cost management
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
* Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
