What you'll be doing:
Conducting load flow, short circuit, and stability analysis of an electrical power systemManagement and analysis of the electrical load budgetDeveloping and validating electrical models for performing simulations to aid power system analysis studiesProvide technical consultation to multi-discipline teams, suppliers and stakeholders on matters related to the power systemPrepare technical reports, calculations, and presentations to communicate results and recommendations effectively
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related fieldProven Experience as a power systems engineerKnowledge of high power, medium voltage power electronics, machines, and drivesStrong knowledge of power systems, including conversion, distributions, and generationExperience conducting electrical load budget and load flow analysisProficiency in power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, xkzlckt Simulink/Simscape, IPSA) and programming tools (e.g. MATLAB, python)Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
