An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Governance Secretary to work in a senior administrative role.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide general administrative support to the Director of Finance, including coordinating governance-related tasks.
* Take minutes in key leadership meetings and prepare board papers.
* Organize and manage Board and committee meetings, including preparing agendas and distributing board papers.
* Support with Trustee Committee meeting papers preparation, distribution, and minutes.
* Ensure action points are followed up on and manage any meeting-related inquiries or requirements.
* Establish policy, process, and procedure document templates for the organization.
* Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure a standard approach to policy implementation.
* Liaise with teams to implement supplier management governance and coordinate supplier management and upkeep of supplier matrices.
* Assist with monitoring compliance with regulations and best practices across the organization.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Strong minute-taking experience.
* Able to organize and manage board meetings and agendas.
* Strong understanding of governance regulations.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
