Key Responsibilities
* Operate, monitor, and maintain both HV and LV electrical systems, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and operational procedures.
* Perform both scheduled and reactive maintenance on critical electrical systems, such as switchgear, UPS, generators, and BMS.
* Conduct HV switching operations following Safe Systems of Work.
* Respond swiftly to technical faults, diagnosing and implementing repairs to minimize downtime.
* Coordinate with external contractors to maintain high standards of safety and operational performance.
* Keep detailed and up-to-date maintenance records, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Essential)
* Inspection and Testing 2391 (Desirable)
* City & Guilds BS 7671 or equivalent qualification
* IPAF Certification for 3a & 3b machines (Desirable)
* HVAP qualification (Desirable)
* Electrically qualified with City & Guilds Level 2 & 3
* Proven experience in building maintenance, particularly within critical environments
* Strong knowledge of UPS, generators, power distribution, HVAC, HV, LV, and associated systems
* Excellent communication skills
