This role will be filled on a hybrid basis. This means you can work remotely part of the working week with an expectation to attend the office in Basildon 2-3 days per week. Any journeys to the office would be at your own expense. More specific details about this can be discussed at the interview stage should you be invited.

The Opportunity

Working together with partners delivering a range of early help, family support and effective social work interventions which build resilience, remove barriers and enable children and young people to look forward to a brighter future.
This role is focused on providing effective and efficient support to the quadrant in maintaining data and providing regular analysis of the progress of commissioned work.
As an effective administrator, this role will develop positive relationships with the social care team whilst utilising the opportunity to deliver an efficient service, undertaking analysis to highlight progress or obstacles to achieving specific outcomes.
Accountabilities
* Work collaboratively with the quadrant to ensure workers are recording casework correctly.
* Work with the quadrant to ensure able to maintain accurate information to ensure adequate controls and compliance in place.
* Develop and operate robust data systems and processes to support the quadrant by monitoring and manage core services.
* Undertake the collation and analysis of information which incorporates service user feedback and evidence of impact to ensure analysis can highlight specific trends in staffing, funding, and monitoring of the impact.
* Support the quadrant by undertaking administrative duties to ensure efficiency of the service in meeting regular outputs.
* Responsible for the collection and input of data from specific questionnaires and monitoring activity to provide robust analysis for the quadrant.
* Supports the quadrant in maintaining files and records accurately and efficiently, proposing and implementing improvements when required.
* Responsible for managing all quadrant enquiries and managing outcomes, ensuring escalation managed in timely manner when appropriate.
The Experience You Will Bring
Essential Skills
* Previous experience of working in a helpdesk support position and providing one to one help/training to user both face to face and using teams
* Evidence of attention to detail in checking data and a high degree of accuracy.
* Knowledge and experience of using IT systems effectively for the collection and analysis of data.
* Awareness of how to utilise IT to establish effective ways to monitor progress and evaluate information.
Desirable skills
* Experience of using Social Care Databases
* Knowledge of children's social care.
* Knowledge and experience of setting up appropriate systems in which to collect and process data.
* Experience of working effectively with a range of MS applications and tools
