What You Will Do
As Quality Engineer, you will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain teams to ensure product and process quality is maintained, issues are contained quickly, and improvements are embedded for the long term.
You will be responsible for:
- Coordinating with Operations on internal and customer quality issues.
- Ensuring full containment of all quality‑related issues.
- Managing Quality Notifications and supporting appropriate disposition.
- Supporting internal and customer investigations using structured problem‑solving tools.
- Driving continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Identifying and implementing projects to reduce Scrap, Rework and Repair.
- Supporting the implementation of Zero Defect initiatives across internal operations and the supply chain.
- Improving process robustness through tools and activities such as PPAP, Product Part Approval Process, PFMEA, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, RRCA, Relentless Root Cause Analysis, MPR, Manufacturing Process Review.
- Supporting wider Quality Department activities as required.
What You Will Bring
We are looking for someone with a strong quality mindset, a practical approach to problem solving and the confidence to work across multiple teams in a manufacturing environment.
We will ideally bring:
- Understanding of Quality requirements such as ISO9000 or AS9100.
- 2 to 5 years' experience working with Quality Management Systems.
- Experience identifying and resolving problems using structured techniques.
- Knowledge of measurement, analysis or continuous improvement tools.
- Experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action, including 8D or similar methods.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
