Physiotherapy Lead - Outpatients The Chiltern Hospital and The Shelburne Hospital 30 Hours & Permanent Salary: Up to £50,000.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification) The Chiltern Hospital in Great Missenden and The Shelburne Hospital in High Wycombe is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapy to join their team of staff in the Outpatients department. This is a part time role for 30 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Duties of this role include: Lead the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy care across all relevant clinical areas. Maintain a specialist caseload, providing expert assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation planning. Provide line management and clinical supervision to physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students. Oversee the day-to-day running of the physiotherapy service, including staff rotas, clinic planning, and workload allocation. Ensure services are delivered in accordance with professional standards (HCPC, CSP), organisational policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g. CQC). Act as the main point of contact for the physiotherapy service, liaising with senior leaders, consultants, and external partners. Stay up to date with research, clinical advancements, and national guidance relevant to physiotherapy. Applicants should meet the following criteria: HCPC-registered Physiotherapist. Significant post-registration experience, including advanced clinical and leadership responsibilities. Proven ability to lead a team and manage physiotherapy services effectively. Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills. Experience in supervising staff and supporting service improvement.
